ABOUT VSF

Victoria School Foundation for the Arts (VSF) has a $2.7 Million endowment fund managed by the Edmonton Community Foundation as well as a $500,000 fund managed by Canadian Western Bank. Each year, up to 4% of the market value of the funds is used to pay for scholarships, awards, master classes and administrative expenses.

The objectives of VSF are to: 

  1. Provide scholarships for students graduating from Victoria School of the Arts

  2. Provide awards for high school students and teachers at Victoria School who are pursuing summer programs

  3. Provide master classes for students and faculty at Victoria School of the Arts

  4. Assist with purchasing equipment for the Eva O. Howard Theatre at Victoria School.

VSF BOARD

VSF is governed by a dedicated volunteer board comprised of community members, parents and teachers.


The VSF Board is responsible for managing annual funds, selecting scholarships and awards recipients, approving master classes, helping with the yearly fundraiser, making equipment purchases for the theatre and obtaining grants.

History

Victoria School Foundation for the Arts (VSF) was incorporated in 1996 and is a registered charity -- Canada Revenue Agency registration #89752-1795-RR001.
